Parking for Perinatal Perinatal Wellbeing Centre is proud to provide support to a growing number of local families during their perinatal journey, and we encourage you to join us! This year the Perinatal Wellbeing Centre has supported more than 450 families, facilitated more than 250 support group sessions and made over 3,500 support phone calls to families experiencing depression and/or anxiety while pregnant, or until their baby is 2 years of age. The number of local families needing perinatal mental health supports continues to grow during the pandemic. The generous donations we receive from local community members, organisations and businesses help us to meet the increasing demand for our services in a sustainable and inclusive way. Many of us are saving money by leaving our vehicles at home while working flexibly, not requiring regular paid parking at our workplaces and using less petrol with less driving. We’re asking locals to consider setting up a regular donation to Perinatal Wellbeing Centre worth the value of a day’s parking to help us continue to help local families get the best start in life. Every dollar helps, an ongoing donation will enable us to answer more calls from families in need so they can talk to a member of our Perinatal Mental Health Support Team. Donations also help us to reduce the waiting time for families to access the Perinatal Wellbeing Centre’s services. If you are not in a position to join the Park for Perinatal fundraising drive you can still help us! Please encourage your coworkers, friends and family through social media and email to join Park for Perinatal. We’ve provided some simple suggestions below of the ways you can invite others to help us increase our positive impact on the local community.
