About us What we do What we do Perinatal Wellbeing Centre is an accredited community-based non-government organisation providing mental health support to families in the Australian Capital Territory and its surrounds. It is staffed by experienced perinatal mental health workers and administration staff, who provide a variety of support pathways and resources to new and expecting parents. Some of the key initiatives of Perinatal Wellbeing Centre include: telephone counselling programs, mental health support groups, opportunities to meet and socialise with other parents in the perinatal period, education and awareness, and referrals. Perinatal Wellbeing Centre is fully committed to providing holistic, integrated perinatal support services, education and advocacy, to better empower new and expecting families in the ACT and its surrounds to access the mental health support they need. Vision, mission & values Perinatal Wellbeing Centre is committed to working towards Reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
